Über Flimmit

Flimmit ist ein Filmportal und hat sich als solches voll und ganz dem Thema Film verschrieben. Auf www.flimmit.com bietet Flimmit seinen Usern zwei Dienste an: die Filmsuche, mit umfassenden Informationen zu mehr als 65.000 Filmen, und die legale Video on Demand (kurz VoD) Plattform mit mehr als 500 Filmen zum Download und Streamen. Flimmit hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, erstens mithilfe der Filmsuche die Treffer bei der Suche nach Filmen und deren Produkte so genau und ausgiebig wie möglich anzubieten und zweitens mithilfe des eigenen VoD Shops den Zugang zum legalen Erwerb von Filmen einfach, vertrauensvoll und legal zu machen. Unser Motto „Easy – Trusted – Legal“ steht für unsere Produkte: Legal und regional erhältliche Produkte, strukturierte Information, hochwertige Filme und vor allem ein unkompliziertes Handling. Unterstützt wurde Flimmit dabei von der AWS (Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH) im Rahmen der Ausschreibung "impulse XL 0902" sowie durch das BMVIT (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie) und die FFG (Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft) im Rahmen des Programms "Austrian Electronic Network". Seit kurzem wird Flimmit auch durch das ÖFI (Österreichisches Filminstitut) und der Wirtschaftsagentur Wien unterstützt.
